Dear Heather,

It’s March and I’m still procrastinating like crazy on my New Year’s resolutions. Can you help me out?”

Hey there!

Thanks for reaching out with your question. It’s totally understandable to feel a bit overwhelmed by procrastination, especially as we hit March and those New Year’s resolutions start to feel like distant memories. But fear not, because there’s still plenty of time to turn things around and get back on track.

First off, let me remind you that March is still quarter one and therefore early days in the grand scheme of things, accomplishment-wise. Think of it as a time for planting seeds rather than expecting full bloom right away. It’s about getting clear on your vision and setting your intentions for the year ahead.

It starts with setting a clear intention, by putting your destination into the GPS of your subconscious mind. Think of it like setting the coordinates for where you want to go – you have a general idea, but you don’t need to map out every twist and turn along the way. Instead, it’s about trusting in the process and allowing room for miracles to unfold along the way while KNOWING that you are on the way – even when it doesn’t feel like it!

Procrastination often sneaks in when we feel overwhelmed or unsure of how to proceed. It’s those little habits like endless scrolling on social media, binge watching Netflix, or reaching for sugary snacks to avoid the pressure that we feel.

But these habits only serve to erode our self-confidence and trust in ourselves.

The key is to start by getting clear on what you really want and how you want to feel and NOT what you think you have to do to get where you want to be.

If you’re feeling stuck or unsure of how to do that or where to start, don’t worry – you’re not alone. We’ve got some exciting things in the pipeline, including a workshop that’s designed to help you break free from procrastination and reclaim control of your life.
